    1. I too would like to see what happens beyond now they have married...what past events haven't they told each other, children (would love them to have kids). Just please bring it on soon.....

    2. I agree thata third book would be amazing. They could still have kids if she is willing to twist the story that way. The procedure is reversable and there are other ways to get his stuff out to do invetro as a way for them to have a child that is genetically both theirs.

  7. Sylvain,

I truly adored Gabriels Inferno and Rapture! I spent several sleepless nights reading in my bed because I couldn't bring myself to turn my kindle off!

  21. I am very excited that there is going to be a third book in this series!! I love the characters and the story. I hated that the second ended just with them getting married. I wanted more. Now I am going to get it. I hope that they are able to have a child/children. I think it would possibly be interesting to see Julia and Rachel pregnant at the same time. Close friends experiencing life changing events together, and I want to see Julia get even with Christa. I would also love to read how Paulina reacts to the news and what kind of trouble she tries to cause the couple.

  22. I am happy to say I just finished the second book. The story is beautiful and the characters are exquisite. I love the way you were able to add some history and I am glad I am reading this in my iPad so I was able to look up the art references as well as the books and places mentioned. Amazing job in bringing t all together in an extremely pure romantic story. Can't wait to red the final book.

  23. Just finished book number 2! I can not even try to begin how amazing these books are. I cried the entire time reading them. I am super excited that there is going to be book number 3! Waiting patiently!!

  24. You have ruined me for all other books. I sat down to read Gabriel's Inferno on Thursday night, by 4 am Saturday morning, I had finished Rapture. Since then I have not been able to pick up another book without getting extremely bored. Your books have not only a love story but also an educational side that I adore.

  25. I loved these books so much I read them twice...i cannot wait tor the third book. I love Gabriel and Julia I want them to have a baby and see Julia become a professor herself and get even with Christa. I love this story and don't wasn't it to end!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I can't wait for the third book to come out. Please don't keep me waiting too long. No other book that I've read in a long time has touched me like these two.

  27. I loved every minute of reading Gabriel's Inferno and Gabriel's Rapture. Not overly sexual, yet romantic, whistful and charming. Totally realistic, relatable, CANADIAN <3, and @ U of T (which is a bonus 'cause I'm currently completing my undergrad there haha). Can't wait for book three and thank you!

  28. I finished Gabriels Rapture yesterday straight after reading Inferno.
Both books touched my heart and made me cry, a lot.
Perhaps book 3 could be Gabriel's Paradise.
We need to know if the longed for child happens and what became of ghastly Christa, does she get her comeuppance?
How about the vile Simon and Natalie, do they end up together, or does he ruin her as well?
So you see, so many questions that need answering ! Looking forward to seeing this book published.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I of course can't wait for Gabriel Book 3 SR! Title, what will it be? Gabriel's Redemption? Gabriel's Paradise? Looking forward to see where you will go with it and am sure I will enjoy it!. What will their future be? What will their challenges be? Have we seen the last of Christa? Paulina? Professor Pain? Will Paul get an HEA? Will there be new characters? Will there be babies? More trips to Italy? Will Gabriel get to sit in on a lecture led by Julia? So looking forward to it!

  31. This series is beautiful. I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful the novels are. They moved me to tears... and it evokes feelings of happiness as much as sadness. The reference to literature, music, art and everything involving Western Europe made me appreciate it more. The poetic lines are so moving.. and the scenes are just so real. I love the whole story, every word of it. I'm looking forward to the 3rd book!

  32. I am stunned and delighted to see a third coming out for this series. I have read the first two three times and considering my vigorous reading, full-time career and family it speaks volumes that I continue to revisit Gabriel and Juianne. I coincidentally grew up in the cities mentioned in PA and worked at Sby Hosp many moons ago. I am far from that life but have family there and the books would have moved me deeply despite this fact, but it added to the sentimentality. I have ready 50 twice and loved them but truly appreciate the depth of Anna and Gabriel and find the sophistication and added beauty of Dante and etc culture to be the extra that I was missing in 50... I was raised reading novels by Tolkein and C.S. Lewis from quite a young age. Still appreciate them in their own right. I have never reviewed books or felt inspired to convey my opinion. Hope others feel the same.

    1. Correted characters I was referring to are Gabriel and Julianna. I truly love your style of writing. The romance is beautiful...less cheapened with violent tendencies; replaced with culture and deep spirituality...but not without passion, irony and suspense. This is just a spur-of-the-moment opinion of a fan. Take it as it is. Just thrilled there will be another. Wasn't assured of a segue to number three. Such a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to all the possibilities previously mentioned by others, for Julianna and the dashing Professor...maybe more in Central PA...he owns the house now anyhow...

  36. Hi, Thanks so much for sharing these two books with the rest of the world. They're just perfect! PLEASE DON'T let the greedy publishers rush you into hurrying through the 3rd book - take your time and complete the perfect trilogy, non-compromising on quality. I've written a fantastic review on i-Tunes and voted for you on Goodreads - Good luck!

  37. Please don't let the third book follow Dante and Beatrice's fate
Beatrice dies at 24 and Julianne is 23
I don't think I Would b able to stop crying if Gabriel had to go on living without Julianne
They both been thru so much and if I don't a happily ever after ending I know I'll cry for a week And please don't throw in a cruel twist and have gabriel die after Julianne gets pregnant please please please let them live long and happily ever afters together "oh gods of true love please let the Gabriel and Julianne live in the 3 rd book please please"
Also do u knw apprx wen the 3rd book will b out? I'm guessing this time next year but I hope sooner
I'm dying to read it but I knw the 2nd book only just came out
If u need a second or 10000th opinion on the book before it's published I'm free 24 hrs a day 7 days a week and I'm Gud at spelin n gra-ma lol no seriously I would pay you to let me proof read ..... Ahhh Gabriel why oh why can't you be real, I would switch professions in a heart beat if men like him really existed *sigh* so romantic

  38. Yes, I do hope there is a happy handing for the Emerson's. I know there will have to be ups and downs for plot development etc. I would like to know what happened between Gabriel and Paulina when she came to his apartment after he and Julia spent Christmas in Selingrove. I am also curious about the secrets they have not shared with each other which they both admitted to after they got back together in Cambridge.
I think I could live vicariously through Julia for the rest of my life.
To experience such love like they have for each other makes for heaven on earth.

  39. Would love to see a TV series or Movies...

JAT for cast: Professor - Ian Somerhalder or David Gandi

  42. Huge fan of the books. I was lucky enough to visit Toronto for a short trip last month from the UK and everywhere I went (stayed in Yorkville) from walking through the UoT campus to Holt Refrew to Queens Park brought up visions of Julia and Gabrielle. Can't wait to read book 3

  46. Just finished the third book! Going to read the second one during the christmas break! Still can't believe that S is a man! The book is very well written, the playlist is very good (1st book!) I'm really happy to search the music in youtube and read the comments "gabriel <3" "gabriel is the reason why i am listening to this" and etc. I love how this book focuses on redemption, and that, love is not just sexual. I love this book very much and I can't wait for the next one. Dang! This gives me hope about my professor :D

  56. This is an amazing series and Book 3 is DEF needed SOON!!! The characters are simply exquisite, just so well defined. Reading the poems, the special language between the two of them and traveling to all the beautiful places just added a special touch that no other series has brought. I can totally see this as a blockbuster movie too - just beautiful.
And… Book 3 has so much to offer, their happily ever-after, Julia continually evolving as a woman and being more fierce, the additional details of their pasts, kids...???, their families, Simon & Natalie (URGH & YUCK but needed), Sharon, does Mr. Mitchell find his happily ever after… oh so much more!!! Please do not keep us waiting too long for Book 3 (:

I can't thank you enough for this series, I've had my share of what each of the key characters has had, there is something about your writing that's helped me heal old wounds and heal them in a really beautiful way (permanently it feels). I am so very happy to hear that the series continues and I eagerly await volume 3. Best, R.

  66. I am just going to say I agree with the running themes of the posts mentioned above. I also have to say that the cries for children should be covered by adoption. Gabriel has the children's home in Boston I believe and then there's the children he helped in Italy while he was waiting to reunite with Julianne. I think that would be more meaningful to both of them. This is of course when Julianne is ready for that step. There's a great deal about their early marriage and their careers that could completely envelop their story for Book 3. But I am sure that Sylvain has come up with an excellent story and draw us into the beautiful world that Gabriel weaves for his Beatrice. One last thought- WE ARE WAITING! SR please don't make us wait to much longer!!

  73. Absolutely love the series so far and think they are very tastefully written. I specifically purchased these books because they were written by a male and after reading so many others in this genre written by female authors, I wanted a male's perspective for a change. And wow, Sylvain Reynard, you aim to please. My only question is, why are you writing under an anonymous name? Now that I've read the books, my curiosity is aroused...who are you? And when is the book #3 being release?

    1. I LOVED LOVED LOVED both Infernal and Rapture. Loved the complex Professor.... and Julianne ...so many layers. One of may favorate aspect is the blend of the Florence Italy theme. I love the Renaissance City Great Sandro Botticelli, and Dante. So masterful. I hope there is a #3 because I want to know how their life unfold in Boston. What happen to the conspirators in Vancouver. Does Julie get a backbone and become more self confident?

Both books wee page turners packed with food for the heat and the mind. I hunger for more!

  75. I have never imagined such love. Does it truly exist? Like this? I have to imagine that it does for anyone to be able to write such a story is unbelievable. I just finished them for the second time and cannot wait for the third. Although I have to say, I hope it doesn't come out until around Christmas or I may fail all of my classes.
