  9. I'm so happy right now, SR! We have a release date! I can't wait for May 22nd!

    I love the title!!!
    The whole cover is beautiful.
I love the couple in the middle, the way they are embraced and the way he's kissing her. They seem lost in the moment and the love and passion they have for each other is perfectly conveyed. I also love the light blue color of the cover and the male figure.

I'm so looking forward to May 22nd! Congratulations :)

  12. Congratulation SR.
I would like some explanation on synchronizing the cover with title …I know paradise and heaven are the synonyms of it
But why you chose Rapture ? :)
And the smock/ blurry impression or vision on the cover is supposed to represent he is in cloud nine ?

    Thank you for writing SR.

  21. Rapture! I had other 'R' words in my head but that works well! Thank you for the cover and I do look forward to May 22! So is it cloud or smoke? I was picturing the fire from the first being snuffed out so they can rise from the flames. I look forward to snagging that e-book ASAP while I wait for the paperback to arrive in the mail! What a journey this has been! I look forward to your future projects but remain so greatful for you SR, and your 1st characters in Julia and her Gabriel and MAIA too. I wonder what stories Opa is telling her today?
    Wishing you all the best,
    Iris~Elli

  22. Once again, I'm excited. I will not look at the cover again for the rest of the day. I must show some restraint.

I will, however, begin my in depth research on the rapture, how it relates to Dante's Inferno, and how it could relate to The Professor and Julia.

Looking at the cover art, obviously, the fire is no longer there. It reminds me of when Gabriel said, "If you feel scorched, flip the switch and the inferno will go out," when he was referring to his fireplace. I wonder if she was able to do so. Or maybe he released her from her own inferno. They are now surrounded by smoke (perhaps incense) and are fully clothed.

She’s definitely in a pose of surrender. Ain’t no defense against some good necking! Her face is also illuminated like an angel while his has a shadow. Light and dark.

Is the male figure holding his head in relief, in thought, or in prayer? Maybe it’s just the narrator thinking, “Get a room!”

I’m done rambling and analyzing. (My work productivity has dropped for a mysterious reason this morning.) I feel like I’m back in school. I love being taught. You’re a great teacher, SR. You’ve got me reading more books than I thought I had the time to. Read your books and you’ve got the entire liberal arts curriculum including physical education.

No tengo remedio con mi amor de este cuento.

  23. SR, what can I say? You have done it again. I can honestly say this is my most anticipated book of 2012.

  24. I love it SR! Beautiful cover, a wonderful title, and a release date that is fast approaching. Woot!
See the blue wisp on the cover could be smoke, but I'd like to think it holds more religious symbolism-that of the Spirit.
Congratulations, SR. I am so looking forward to reading more of your words!

  29. Well done, SR.

RAPTURE is a perfect title for the second half of this story, juxtaposing Gabriel's INFERNO nicely. And the cover art is so compelling. I like that it is a direct parallel with the cover of Gabriel's Inferno. Really lovely.

Thank you for sharing this with us and for sharing this beautiful and unforgettable story. It will always be in my heart, as will you be.

Looking forward to the big release on the 22nd. My credit card is ready. Hope the Gabriel's Rapture merchandise will follow soon. Or maybe merchandise featuring both Inferno & Rapture? Love it all!

All the best to you. You are such an amazing writer with your art of words, and a wonderful friend to us all.

  32. Beautiful cover and love the title! Looking forward to the release of the book on May 22. I tried to pre-order it but it's not available yet. Sigh....

I see Gabriel and Julia continuing with their love and passion for each other. I envision the clouds around them as ethereal...surrounding the beauty of the two of them.

Thank you SR. I am hoping for more and more.
